IMPORTANT info for parents/guardians & students.
Transportation will not be provided by the school, so it is important that parents are aware that they might be required to provide transportation to and from any of the opportunities that their son or daughter signs up to complete.
These opportunities (volunteer, skills, and physical activities) come to us from a variety of sources, including but not limited to: City of Surrey, YMCA, independent businesses, organizations, clubs, etc. It is crucial that parents be aware that there are no site visits conducted by school district employees prior to the volunteer work and/or other activities & that parents/guardians must use their discretion in deciding if the activity is appropriate for their son/daughter.
